The Hybrid VTOL Fixed-Wing Industrial Drone offered by YIHANG factory in China, combines two operating modes in one aircraft platform. Vertical takeoff and landing allows deployment from suitable sites without a conventional runway, while fixed-wing flight provides efficient cruise performance for longer missions. Its relatively high payload capacity and configurable payload interface allow the aircraft to be adapted to different equipment requirements without changing the basic airframe.
The platform is designed for professional operators that need greater deployment flexibility than conventional fixed-wing UAVs and longer flight time than typical multi-rotor platforms. Payload selection, flight configuration and mission planning can be adjusted according to the intended operating conditions.

Third-part payload
The aircraft takes off and lands vertically, removing the need for a conventional runway, catapult or launch rail. After takeoff, it transitions to fixed-wing cruise flight for extended airborne operations.
A 30kg maximum payload provides capacity for professional communication, imaging and surveying equipment. The actual usable payload depends on equipment weight, power requirements, installation configuration and operating conditions.
The aircraft provides up to 6 hours of endurance at cruise under the stated conditions. High-altitude mission endurance is specified at approximately 4–6 hours, depending on altitude, payload, flight profile and environmental conditions.
The payload system can accommodate compatible 4G/5G communication base stations, EO/IR gimbals, oblique survey cameras and selected third-party payloads. YIHANG can evaluate integration requirements based on payload weight, dimensions, power consumption and interfaces.

The Hybrid VTOL Fixed-Wing Industrial Drone can be configured with different mission equipment according to operational requirements.
Airborne Communication Base Station A compatible 4G/5G communication payload can be integrated for temporary aerial communication coverage where conventional ground infrastructure is unavailable or disrupted.
EO/IR Gimbal Electro-optical and infrared systems can provide visible and thermal imaging for remote observation, search operations and situation assessment.
Oblique Survey Camera Oblique imaging systems can support aerial surveying, mapping, 3D reconstruction and post-event site documentation.
Third-Party Payloads Selected third-party equipment can be considered for integration based on mechanical mounting, aircraft balance, electrical power and communication interface requirements.
The aircraft can carry compatible airborne communication equipment to support temporary communication coverage following earthquakes, floods, wildfires or other events that affect ground-based communication infrastructure.
EO/IR payloads can provide visible and thermal observation over areas that are difficult to access from the ground, supporting search, assessment and coordination activities.
Compatible survey payloads can be used for aerial data collection, topographic mapping, 3D modeling and post-disaster assessment.
The long-endurance platform can support extended inspection routes involving power lines, pipelines, transmission structures and other infrastructure assets.
The VTOL configuration and extended cruise capability make the platform suitable for selected monitoring missions in remote or infrastructure-limited areas, subject to local operating requirements.
The aircraft supports manual flight, waypoint-based route flight and point-and-fly control. Configured flight-control functions include autonomous takeoff and landing and real-time telemetry feedback.
Waypoint planning can be used for repeatable inspection, surveying and monitoring routes. Automatic return functions can also be configured according to the flight-control system and mission requirements.
The aircraft uses a carbon fiber composite airframe and a twin-cylinder two-stroke piston engine. Its specified operating temperature range is -20°C to 55°C, with IP54 protection and Level 5 wind resistance during takeoff and landing.
The maximum service conditions should be assessed together with payload, altitude, weather, operating site and mission configuration before deployment.
YIHANG provides selected OEM/ODM and payload integration services for industrial UAV projects. Available support can include payload installation, flight-control tuning, control-interface customization and OEM branding.
Integration requirements can be assessed according to the selected payload, including its weight, dimensions, power consumption, mounting method and communication interface.

The hybrid configuration combines vertical takeoff and landing with fixed-wing cruise flight. This allows deployment from suitable sites without conventional runway infrastructure while supporting longer-duration flight.
The listed maximum payload is 30kg. Actual payload capability depends on the equipment configuration, power requirements, aircraft balance and mission conditions.
The stated maximum endurance is up to 6 hours at cruise, with approximately 4–6 hours for high-altitude missions depending on operating conditions.
The platform supports compatible 4G/5G communication base stations, EO/IR gimbals, oblique survey cameras and selected third-party payloads.
The standard communication system is specified with a range of up to 100km. Actual performance depends on terrain, interference, communication equipment and operating conditions.
Yes. YIHANG supports selected OEM/ODM projects, including payload integration, flight-control tuning, control-interface adjustments and OEM branding.
